The inspected Marketplace includes LinkedIn, with a card describing social-posting automation. That description does not establish support for every kind of LinkedIn action.
Ask for the connection in chat
Ask the agent to show the LinkedIn connection card for your intended task. Review the identity and permissions yourself. Connecting is separate from permission to post, send, or change anything externally.
Find LinkedIn in Settings
- Open Settings → Connect Apps → Marketplace.
- Search for LinkedIn or use the Social Media category.
- Inspect the card and the setup information available in your account.
Before connecting, check which identity and permissions the flow requests. A personal profile, a company page, comments, and direct messages are different destinations and operations.
Start with content you can review
A draft can be prepared from approved material without first publishing anything:
Prepare three LinkedIn post drafts from this approved article. Keep the product facts unchanged, vary the opening, and suggest a simple visual for each. Show the drafts for review.
Check the claims, audience, links, names, and tone. Remove information that was suitable for an internal document but not approved for public use.
Specify an external action precisely
Before requesting publication, state the exact destination and approved text. For example, identify the company page rather than saying “post this on LinkedIn.” Confirm that the requested operation is available in the connected account.
This documentation preview does not claim support for every profile, page, comment, message, or analytics operation. Those details require provider-level verification.
Verify the result
After an authorized publication, ask for the live post link and open it. Check the identity, audience, text, and attached media. If the agent reports a failure or an ambiguous result, inspect the destination before retrying to avoid duplicates.
For a reusable draft process, continue with Content production. For access problems, use Troubleshooting.
