Yahoo Mail appears in the inspected connection Marketplace. Listing a provider is separate from successful account authorization or availability to every customer.
Ask about the connection in chat
Ask the agent to check Yahoo availability and show its connection card if setup is supported for your account. Review the consent disclosure before continuing. A card does not remove provider rollout or permission limits.
Locate the connection in Settings
- Open Settings → Connect Apps → Marketplace.
- Search for Yahoo Mail.
- Read the card and any availability information shown for your account.
- If connection is offered, read the requested permissions and disclosures before deciding whether to continue.
Do not treat the Available card label as evidence that the complete provider flow has been tested.
Read the consent disclosure
Clero’s published Yahoo policy describes message search, reading, and sending, together with a separate disclosure about processing by the selected AI provider. Read that disclosure and make a deliberate choice before connecting. Yahoo policy details.
The public catalog and policy do not establish general production readiness. Confirm that setup succeeds for your account before depending on it for business work.
Bound the first mailbox task
If the connection is successfully authorized and the needed operation is available, begin with a small, clearly scoped request:
Find messages from [sender] in [date range] about [topic]. Return a short summary and identify which messages need my decision. Do not send replies or change messages.
Specify the mailbox, sender, date range, and desired output. Avoid a broad request to inspect everything when a narrow search will answer the question.
Keep sending explicit
Review a draft before requesting a send. Name the recipient and sending identity, especially when more than one account is available. Then check the actual result in the destination service.
When setup is blocked
Record the provider error and where in setup it occurred. Do not repeatedly reconnect, grant wider permissions, or switch to a different account without understanding the issue. Use Troubleshooting and keep the workflow in draft form while access remains unresolved.
